Welcome Back AAI members: Meeting and Movie Night

The first event and meeting that marks the begining of the year for AAI at UBC. All AAI memebers are welcome back to school.

Conference Week  

- January 17 - 21, 2011

Conference Week is the major event that opens up the begining of the second term of Africa Awareness Initiative at UBC and a mark for the start of the new year. This event is a series of various programed events that lasts for the whole week. The series of events features Intellectual talks from various guest speakers and social & cultural events that represent some of the elements of African culture. Members Meeting  

- February 28, 2011 Monday

This coming members meeting will mainly focus on the AAI History, analysis and evaluation of the AFRICAN DREAM, Involvement and Leadership aspects within AAI, AAI Executives Election and Questions and Answers period from AAI members and Leaders. Come excited and prepared for discovery and disclosure of many things you never knew about Africa Awareness Initiative at UBC.

This is one of the most important AAI meetings as it marks the end of school year and it features an election for new AAI executives.

CARNIVAL

The most lively dance party of the year AT THE GALLERY PUB under the lead of DJ Sasha, who will be "causing" people shake and move following the rythm of fine Soca, Reggae and Dancehall. Great time guaranteed!!! Organized by the Caribbean African Association
