Cultural Night is an event that is intended to celebrate the diversity and greatness of African culture in terms of artistic expressions and performances, african food and african appearance in attires. This year's Cultural Night will be taking place at LIU Institute Center for Global Issues building, which is right beside International House on Friday March 11 from 6pm to 8:30pm.
This Night will feature a variety food tastes of African dishes prepared by Africans, silent auction, performances and a feeling of Africa. To make the night and the experience even more outstanding We invite you to come dressed in your African attire if you have any, or just any other cultural attire from your culture. This is not a requirement so you are not limited to come out if you do not have any cultural attires. Just come the way you are, invite your friends and anybody that you know to this wonderful night.
There will be a small charge associated with entering in the event, where by, VIP members will pay $5, regular members $7 and Non-members $10. This charge will cover you for everything including food for this night.
Remember: Africa is a continent. This being a case, be prepared to experience different cultural interactions from many corners of African continent. AAI welcomes you all with open hands and generosity.
